Tau, I appreciate your thoughts/writings and can't disagree with anything in particular in your response. The point of my post was to question imthatguy's statement that resource extraction acitvities benefit ecosystems.

I agree that growth is inevitable and that changes ot the environment will occur. It would be great if our government produced and enforced environmentally sound policies/laws. Again, can't disagree with your post, my original post was in response to a questionable statement by another poster.
