From what I understand the date of start is the 18th. This has been around Thunder Bay for a while now. I checked but could find nothing about it. I posted this on the FWR forum on stockhouse some time ago. The date is to be the 18th.

I thought that if it was as big an event as it sounds with all of the names listed to be participants, I would have thought that there would be articles in the local paper etc... This usually happens when these issues come up so I was perplexed.

I was hoping someone would just call JoAnne for verification.

I have a friend who has mentioned in the past that he wanted to run for Chief. He is against the mining so I thought for sure he would know something but even he has heard nothing.

If it is anything, it is probably a minor localized issue which will be fixed. Can't be much more because its too quiet.
