Who says any of it is against Noront?

If anything my guess is that with Noront and perhaps a few others dealng fairly with the natives sets a standard that the natives want all the rest to take que from or get out of the region.
( Of course there would not be anyone to sow doubt now would there?)

Any Johnny come lately that takes short cuts with respect to staking or exploration is likely to be told where to go. That is all it probably is and high time.
