NI 43-101 Update (September 2012): 11.1 Mt @ 1.68% Ni, 0.87% Cu, 0.89 gpt Pt and 3.09 gpt Pd and 0.18 gpt Au (Proven & Probable Reserves) / 8.9 Mt @ 1.10% Ni, 1.14% Cu, 1.16 gpt Pt and 3.49 gpt Pd and 0.30 gpt Au (Inferred Resource)
There is no change in the drill disposition as of yet because the shorter drills are not completely done, they will be 'Shortly' ( what ever that means, perhaps like the famous Soon.)
Per quote from news release July 20:
"The infill program will be completed shortly and the exploration focus will shift to
testing new targets for new Ni-Cu-PGE sulphide deposits in the immediate vicinity of
Eagle's Nest."
And Rago, you are one of the few that reads these news releases and actually notices what is there ( Folks. read them with a bit more attention and scrutiny )
Again from same release:
"Deep drilling at Eagle's Nest has encountered technical difficulties which have delayed
results. We will report results from the deep drilling when they become available. Two
holes are currently underway to test the promising structural convergence zone at depth at Eagle's Nest"
Yes, the problem was with the 'deep drilling', not necessarily with the drills themselves, and definitely not the lab. The drills are currently drilling. The unanswered question is not only what was the problem but whether it was the old start up problem, i.e. delay of two weeks in April/May, or was it something additional afterwards.
I suspect something additional, could be physical or just plain convenient delay.
