Thats is what is needed for a normal mine but with Noront, the first road in would be an ice-road(which I can't believe has not been done yet). This would cut costs and permit major equipment and services to get access. The damage to enviorment would be almost nil and when the trucks leave loads of concentrated ore could be sent out for the second year of operation. This should pay down the initial costs quicker and allow for the time for other transportation efforts to be built. And a big agreement from me that we need the governments to start the talking for permits to be applied for and ready for mine and permanant infrastructure when the final plans have been decided. Routes can be decided now and all the MNR reports and conversations with local populations can take place. I am sure most of this has already been started behind the scenes now. I just wish they would anounce that now.
