I also agree BUT: I have long hold averaging $1.97 about which I do not worry at all because these are for the day the cows come home. Then I have short term trades which I use to take advantage of opportunities such as now. My short term trades consist of a batch which I will call mid term because their average cost to me is $1.21 and I will start selling them above 1.50 or so. Finally I have the latest averaging now $1.05 and these are very short term and will go for about 20 cents above my purchase price. They will not go in one lump but as each buy goes 20 cents or more above I sell. This way should the sp turn around and go beck down I will restart buying. So what ever the sp does I am happy to buy or or sell to make money. Win - win is the plan, assuming that the sp will continue to yo yo for a while. Cheers.
