Sag4Tag,
I can see your point however, you are missing part of my message. Agoracom is in a direct conflict of interest when it comes to Noront and Freewest. This is an important point that Agoracom should of admitted when this take over started. I am sure some readers here missed this conflict of interest and I wanted to shine some light on it.
When a Board of Directors has a vote and a member has a conflict of interest, this member is asked to remove him/herself from the meeting. In the current situation, Agoracom remains judge and jury and this creates a dangerous situation made even worse when the conflict is not even reported.
Any action taken by them towards members of the NOT or FWR boards have to be looked at by all to ensure that this was done for the betterment of both communities and that conflict of interests were not a factor in those decisions. I am not sure my removal as a hub leader was for the betterment of this community however, it did follow prescribed rules set up by Agoracom before this take over started.
However, the situation I pointed out in my post was a perfect example of a situation that us members need to be aware of.
Now, I do believe this is the first such situation where a non sponsored hub (Noront) is attempting to take over a sponsored hub (Freewest). I believe for future reference that Agoracom should make public that they are in a conflict of interest so that all involved are aware of this issue.
I hope my original post makes more sense now and you understand why I chose to publicly post it instead of a private message to Agoracom.
Respectfully,
Glorieux
