Berta my friend, just got back in from doing Dad duties. lol, thanks for your input into the discussion on Hub leaders. I will say in response to biased behavior that given the fact there are 42 (including Agoracom) Hub Leaders listed it would be quite difficult to have a biased behavior affect the basis of the forum that being discussion on anything which pertains to NOT and the ROF in general.

It is not possible to have the Hub Leaders all on the same page about any one issue let alone thousands of issues, more importantly, having said that, as having past experience in processing violations if I came to a specific post which i could not make a determination either way i left it for another to process thus i suspect that the rest of the Leaders did do the same, in fact i have often seen posts go unprocessed for extended periods of time only to later be dealt with by agoracom, so you see it's all not as cut and dried as it appears to be. Within the report violation process there is opportunity to add text thought to the violation report, this is a tool that is under utilized imo, the 6 rules are open to interpretation by thousands of Agoracom readers not just NOT forum readers as such, beyond the obvious infraction of the rules any "grey area" violation interpretations should be followed up by the text thoughts in the box provided.

There is no schedule of duty to be performed in the administration of violations, they do so if and when they can, when time warrants etc. etc. today it could be any number of the leaders, tomorrow just a few and the next day perhaps only Agoracom.

The deletion of posts is a much different animal compared to the processing of flagged violations, to begin with there needs to be quite the offence of the rules to get a post deleted, when a post is deleted, its gone, another Hub Leader can reinstate the post. Rest assured that does not happen too often.

"in the opinion of the other posters, a certain bit of favoritism, personal values, moral issues, etc., show up too regularly."

Not sure if i follow you on this, If you are saying that there is thought to exist such items of opinion as stated above let me asure you all are without substance given the fact there is absolutely no way other than pure conjecture to dicern whether or not the concerned "opinions" have said substance specifically in relation to Hub Leaders processing said violations.

You raise interesting points Berta, I have tried to address them , having said that, perhaps it would help if Agoracom would set up some rotational trials whereby opportunity to moderate the forum is offered to forum members from mail room on up on a rotational basis, win/ win, shared among all participants. Pesonally i don't care who's doing the job as long as its being done. Of course this would mean more work for Ag but would go a long way to aleviating any concerns there are regarding "opinions" mentioned above.

Now for the off topic Berta, the Jesuit Map at Tayopa, is it still in place, what's the state of affairs in that region these days? Safe to plod around the canyons?? Last but not least, have you heard of the Lost Lemon Mine and do you still tilt windmills?

Cheers to all this Sat eve.

Rob
