Glorieux, working for a Government agency I fully understand what you are saying(regarding conflict of interest). However it is still an issue between you and Agoracom. Issues of conflict can sometimes seem obvious but sometimes it can be obscure, but still a conflict. For example as a NOT owner if I am a hub leader on this hub and I have been granted the authority to remove posts that believe violate the rules could I not also be accused of conflict. For example if person A bashes NOT while calling you an egghead (trying to use nice language) I could remove the post saying it is a personal attack. Now if a pro NOT poster says to a basher, I'm tied of all the b******t you keep spreading. Is this second scenario any less a personal attack? Unfortunately I have seen this occur often on this hub as things have heated up. Contrary to all our personal beliefs there is no such thing as a neutral party. I have never ever met a person in life who did not have some kind of bias. Therefore anyone who can make a ruling on any issue is potential could be in conflict. It is in our nature.
I remember some years ago(okay many years ago) a Lawyer defending his client in Criminal Court actually argued that the Judge by virtue of his employment by the state(Province of BC) was in conflict of interest and therefore his client could not get a fair trial? i.e. the state makes the laws then hires the Judge to punish the people who break the Law. Any event enough said.
