15. On September 2, 2014, we announced a three year collaboration with Synopsys on advanced

modeling of the PET (Planar Electrical Technology) devices and the development of our first PDK

(Process Design Kit). This collaboration, which combines Synopsis’ TCAD modeling expertise and our

innovative technologies, will provide POET technologists with the information needed to begin prototype

designs.
