Guessing should be done by collecting a lot of facts and applying logical deductions. This is how science is working.

Ockhams razor is one heuristic tool we can use to decide which theory is more probable. But what are the counter theories to the secretive involvement of Apple in POET? PET did not work? Apple was not interested? They first wanted to have a proof in form of a mass produced prototype?

I am still a big fan of the theory Sula summed up nicely. It is complex, not Ockham simple. Apple is complex, POET (the technology) is complex, working with limited resources in multiple countries is complex.
We also have to concider the number of these single evidences. I guess this is a major reasons why I am still invested, as it is one leading to substancial shareholder value and finally to the SP we are hoping for.

So should't we try to work out this theory in a more "scientific" and structured manner?
Rainer, can we do this in a common effort on a Google chart?

How about plotting a mind-map structuring the facts we learned, evidences we can find and also the counter evidences?
