Big news would mitigate this, but unfortunately the TSX-V has a "sell in May and go away" stigma and share prices drift down without anything having to do with the fundamentals of the company. There are companies that can break that trend, but since most stocks are event driven, they will need powerful events to stem off any share price decline.
