Leb it has long been the stated goal of  the company to achieve very high volumes that were not available from DL that is  until  DL builds a new fab for high volume production. The requirements for lasers by POET is  expect to explode and they will need to  be supplied from the biggest manufactures once POET moves to  On-Board Optics.  We see it as a snails pace but they are moving very quickly in terms of  industry standards.
