ABC-Sch, the comments are somewhat ambiguous, and there's a possibility POET agreed to a reduced payment in order to provide more favourable manufacturing terms, but as you've also suggested, a news release would would have been required for this (I believe?).

As per FJ (and Shash's original post), the Sanan deal may have put DL a bit on the defensive, therefore some bargaining power for POET.  TM has quite clearly (even testily) stated in the past, the company got a great deal with DL re supply agreement, it looks like the deal may have gotten even sweeter.  Nothing wrong with that.

Bottom line, deal's done.  Any guesses at what's next?
