But that's what I was getting at. I can be wrong but I don't think Solactive made that decision. I think Ark's index subsidiary decides on what to put in and Solactive just does the index calculations and administration. That for me is an important distinction because obviously Ark are now considered one of the top stock pickers in the world.

What makes you think Solactive is the one who picks the stocks here? I haven't encountered anything to suggest that but you may have so it's a genuine question.

Regardless, for the market it doesn't matter as it has obviously given the stock wings in the past couple of weeks and we're all winners here because of it.
