In particular, I like the "You will love them" bit for the "I know you like new original concepts". The IR people are back in Calgary on September 10. For me, that pretty much rules out all of next week as the top line release. But if so, then the Third Eye Loan will have to be dealt with.
22 days means Sept 24. Sept 24, ironically, is the exact date Amarin declared their results and the rest is history. Sept 24 is conveniently, a Tuesday. So the big gathering in a Calgary room has to take place at least 1 or 2 days before. Convenient because all these busy people can fly into Calgary over the weekend (and hopefully not get stuck because of flight delays). Walk back 2 weeks, and it would suggest Database Lock is about to happen any day now.
Re the data analysis, it seems to me that PPD will first do the data crunching and then they will send it to their outside consultants. Maybe that is why they said 2 weeks. It is PPD and the outside consultants who need to double check everything. The data analysis that top line release needs is fairly elementary, by statistical standards, so 2 weeks seems way too long...but they give themselves enough cover...just in case.
