I don't know. Resverlogix did not clearly communicate the experimental design of what they were planning, so it is tough to see too far into the crystal ball.

An old world non-human primate is best. Both Rhesus macaques and African Green monkeys are being used as models, amongst others. I'm not aware of any details of the unique bromodomain system of African Green Monkeys, so I can't comment on that. 

"That has been a pet peeve of mine. So many drugs tested on animals including pet type animals like dogs etc. But then no drug is developed for the species that was used as test subject. You would think that pharmaceutical companies could at least include a drug to benefit the species that was used for testing - at least when they are pet type animals."

This was actually one of the program goals early on for Zenith....animal oncology. However, that was a while ago and they haven't been promoting that lately.
