Khareema: What we don't know is the date of record for holding KWG shares to get shares of Debut Diamonds. I bought another 50,000 in KWG today but I have no idea if they will qualify.

I also picked up another 60,000 shares of SPQ. I had an order in for more but it wasn't filled. Maybe tomorrow!

I talked to someone at KWG today about the Shareholder's Rights Plan. Even though a phone number was given in their last press release, the papers hadn't been finalized and the spokesperson was waiting for word from their lawyer.

IMO there will be a lot of details to be worked out before a merger will be presented for shareholders consideration. As the saying goes, 'the devil is in the details'.

Even if Cliffs walks and our share price takes a dive, I think it will be short time pain for long time gain.

I realise I have to be prepared should a merger take place (SPQ &KWG) and the new company is left to its own devices. Will they be able to raise the money to proceed?

The two CEO's have come a long way and IMO they will not let this project die on the vine.

The key here is patience.

PS: Someone posted that SPQ has a Shareholders Rights Plan. I can't find any mention of one in any annual report or NR. I could phone the office but hate to be a bother at what must be a very harrowing time. So, if anyone has a copy, could you post it here, or PM me and I'll send you my e-mail address.
