Could be?.....lol...... It has been....lol

My basic point of rambling is.....e.Digital has a stable of patents that convey pretty much all aspects of flash implementation/management, interface, file structure, bios management....etc. You name it, they have it.

They can prove pretty much a full house....and its pointed at device infrastructure, not the flash slot.

If your embedded offerings are of similar devise on open source...IMO, you have a problem.

If your offerings are patented but pointed....you,re limited. Slot flash is where most of the big flash intergrators pratcice and tie up their IP.

e.Digital, IMO, appears to be standing some what alone. They can go after companies offering embedded flash.

If you do not have an enterprise patented platform, you have nothing.
