Pat Nunnally's starting point to determine exactly who the 180 or so infringers were was to examine the patents of companies who refered to EDig's patents in THEIR patent applications. Nothing more, nothing complicated. Very simple.

Also the "prior art" reference by EDig or lack of same, was the operating system invented by Norris/EDig/deberko????(late, can't remember his name) for use with flash memory. LL is correct, EDig did not invent flash memory just how to use in a way not used before and not in a manner that would be an inevitable discovery someone might have made had they put all the pieces together as is the case in some patents that were rejected.

EDig invented a piece or two of the puzzle not in existence at the time and had no competition for their invention for four years.
