Business plans are not pies in the sky. They are specific in regard to direction, intention and aspirations. Anything else is unfathomed generalities and platitudes. I do not know how business plans in your field look like, Dean, but in mine, should I had submitted anything like it, I would have been laughed out of the court. They can certainly tell us all about the direction they want to take the company without revealing any crucial details. Do they want to acquire technology? Are they still in the business of producing? selling? Licensing? Do they want to tender an offer to GM, Crysler or what?
These are serious questions we, the shareholders, should demand answers to and the management should provide. Frankly, although I really do not want to pass any judgement, at this point, on the ability of the management, they have got away with a number of managerial indiscetions primarily because we have allowed them to do so.
Really for the benefit of the firm we should all be more demanding and the mangement should be more forthcoming.
