They made the effort, created the products based on patent technology, licensed the technology to others but just fell short for a number of reasons...the number one being that they were underfinanced and also came up against the ipod craze.

And yes they danced while waiting for this day to come. They made changes at the top along the way, attempted different market strategies and rolled with the punches. And they got punched a lot.

They are not riding on their private jets or taking huge bonuses while shareholders wither. They are again focused on a strategy they hope continues to improve shareholder value.

We must move beyond the historical realities and focus forward, especially considering we are about to get the best numbers ever.
