Deleting posts:
When a post displays and it says, "you may remove this post" click on remove and it will show an X as deleted. It can also be "unremoved" later, but not sure if only HL's can do that or what? Sometimes when I see a post removed, I unremove it, read then remove it again, so not to disagree with why it was removed in the 1st place. No need for any competition etc.
The other way, a poster has 5 minutes to edit or remove his/her own post.
I think only mail room and treas displays "you may remove this post."
The last way is to flag and report a violation, which anyone can do. Then a HL can process it in the manage violation tab as "warn user" or "ignore violation." If it is not processed, Agora will see it and take appropriate action. They will remove it only if it violates one of the six rules.
Several HL's monitor the flagged posts and particpate in processing it. Sometimes a flag appears to be personal...other times it's our "repeat member" doing it just to hassel others. When we see this, someone will process it as ignore.
And there you have it...
