Good post Bill... I concur with you 100%.
To me, DM's success can't been determined yet. These settlements have been "nuisance settlement" amounts, which to me means it was cheaper for the infringers to settle than to take it to trial. It's like sweeping it under the rug for them.
We don't know how effective DM has been yet because we haven't seen them go for the GUSTO, and if Samsung doesn't bring in at least 50mil, I will be very disappointed myself.
You can have 174 small amount settlements and to me, that still wouldn't be validation of our patents! Just 174 nuisance settlements! We need some "substantial" settlements to make things "happen"!
