Samsung has been the sole defendant since Apr 2009...over 6 months. I can find no other PACER filings of new defendants. What has DM been doing...sitting on their keesters? I don't buy that it takes over 6 months to prepare new filings when they should now be cookie cutter type in language.
sman998 who attended the 2008 ASM reported that Mr. Nunally personally told him he was in contact with up to 5 infringing companies each month. Others confirmed they heard this as well. If DM has been in contact with these new infringers about licensing our patents without filing a lawsuit against them, they have a loooong headstart in negotiations. That is a possible explanation as to why there are no new lawsuits filed.
