As an added thought, I cannot see any benefit to edig or DM if settlements are reached with the current and remaining 15 lawsuits.

Both edig and DM want as much income and as quickly as possible. This will only happen if we succeed in a favorable Markman ruling with the current group. If the current group acts as a single entity, then force a Markman ruling and refrain from any further settlements. If they break the bond, then some settlements would benefit the cash inflow, however to implement the most positive strategy would suggest that we stay on course towards a Markman ruling.

Why let this overall strategy consume maximum cost and involve 3-5 additional years and possibly more filing groups of lawsuits. It's time DM shows their strength, force the issue of validation and provide the shareholders with the return they have been waiting for, for many years.

Edig management should show their resolve and initiate this strategy for all concerned.
