She started out at a minimum of 24 hours/week, $65/hour which is $74,880 based on 48 weeks. Consider 2 weeks vacation and 2 weeks of holidays in there, and the position was hourly, not salaried, and less duties.
I am quite sure she was puting in more than 24 anyway, now it says 28 minimum.
Add in 4 more hours per week at $65/hour at 48 weeks and that adds $12,480 per year, or $87,360.
Keeping it simple, the added duties gave her an additional compensation package to be the CFO of $10,640.
This "raise" amounts to an additional $221.67 per week.
She is now on a flat salary and is required to put in a MINIMUM of 28 hours per week, and if she is required to put in more time, there is no over-time pay. She is now and exempt employee.
What's the big deal?
