Just for discussion: the only comments you are aware of about Jobs was his commuication with the market and investment community. That is true with almost all companies and how they communicate. It's about earnings and future growth.

How would you know what or how he communicated with his BOD or management about the strategies, policies or operations and dealing with changes in direction or problem solving. I would venture a guess that when a problem arose, he would focus on the negative of what happened and told them to resolve the issue.

I think we are discussing semantics as to negative and positive in operating a business. Has a lot to do with internal vs external communication.
