Good points all away around.

However, the Apple settlement is a big deal ( it rarely happens) and is certainly part of the public domain.

Heck , college sophomores are writing articles about the importance of the settlement

It would be highly suspect that even the mention publicly announcing the mere fact of a settlement would be prohibited by a NDA.

Within reasonable legal and business constraints some company comment was in order. Part of the BOD and managements " top of the list" responsibility is to keep the shareholders/stakeholders in the loop as much as possible.

This time around, the company silence regarding this settlement leaves me very frustrated.

Just too big an event in the eyes of the shareholder to just go dark!
