"Just seems like these lawsuits are small time BS squabbles. Surely these squabbles are not gonna get in the way of any deal."
You have it exactly right. These lawsuits seem to be based on petty personal pique. It appears that BG is using Liberty Star to carry out what is apparently a personal vendetta. It appears that this whole matter is based on BG being insulted and "pissed off" that JB had the audacity to question his expertise and competence and specifically some actions he took. In response- it's a case of "I'll show you" and then concocted what you rightly call "BS" lawsuits. Unfortunately, you are not correct in your assumption that they are not going to get in the way of any deal. The problem is- as "small time" and petty as these lawsuits might be- they are not petty in the impact they are having on potential deals. Several potential investors have very specifically stated that they will not proceed with deals as long as there are pending lawsuits of any kind. So here we have BG using and damaging the prospects of Liberty Star- and we shareholders- to carry out his childish games- in our name, no less and probably at our cost- and at the cost of potential deals. Is this an example of him fulfilling his fiduciary duty? These lawsuits- and/or BG need to be dropped.
