. Oil stays in the ground, it doesn't grow legs and walk away. It's not a perishable product. THE oil is still there and can be pumped and sold whenever.
Yes OK but the point is by acting like they did they brought the reservoir at risk.We have the evidence of that and that's something probably Brian is referring too by hiding miscalculations in huge texting to not admit that it was probably not he best option to do that.I know a company over here which is a zinc user.Because metals also can swing hard up and down they buy long time put options when the price has jumped up.So that's a way to secure your assets when situation in price slips again.
small investors only pay the price when they don't pay attention..Right about now many small investors are making serious coin with CLL.
That's true. But small investors can set on the wrong leg when communicatin is not accurate .CEO's must be aware that every word they say on tv or in messages can give perceptions to investors. So if they give inestors the feeling that all is running fine etc..they create buying fever or when things go wrong the opposite. The fact is when things go wrong almost every company will bring out the bad news in slices or hidden between their messages. They NEVER admit they were wrong.
Our 3 major banks here has been in trouble but no one of these CEO's I've heard saying in public we were wrong.
