Okay Golfyeti

Final attempt to clarify and then I will surrender.

bbay, you keep trying to put words in my mouth. I never said Teck is delaying the BFS. YOU are the one making this suggestion and clinging to it despite the logic that Teck would have zero ability to do so outside of convincing CUU to do so. Money does talk.

I have two points to make here. I never suggested that Teck delayed the BFS. I was asking clarification from Vette on this post..

Teck does not want us to get the Indirect Holding and for some reason CUU is ok with that as they are holding back what would give us the Indirect Holding...the Feasibility.

Now WHY ???

I understand why Teck wants to keep, if they lose it , they lose control, voting power, they must then earn in their share by spending 100% of the expenditures, all under a clock.

At that point CUU could just sell to someone else, voting shares included, and Teck woul dbe in a very bad position.

What I don't understand is why CUU is cooperating....and there is only 1 reason for that.

Here is my post asking for clarification on the 1 reason.

You are actually saying the same thing as me here but a different thing in this post

here is one possible scenario: CUU Management goes along with the delay because it is in the best interest of shareholders.

By posting this you are agreeing with the theory that Teck was responsible for the delay.

My second point is that I prefixed my response with an if giving you the option to just say that you didn't believe. This is not putting words in your mouth.

If you believe that Teck stopped the BFS release for negotiations and assumed it was for the greater good then you are saying that one suitor is better than many.

I started this by asking for a simple clarification which I never got. I had hoped to learn something as I was genuinely curious. Instead I was treated to some patronising replies and told to wake up and smell the coffee. I was then given some clearly illogical responses about suitors which made no sense. Even if Teck is the preferred suitor, it makes no logical sense to ignore all others. Teck will not walk away in a huff from SC (if they do, great ) and their offer will have to improve if they have competition. This is just common sense. I will read your reply and then let this go. It was a minor hypothetical point anyway and I am no longer sure I care....

still long and strong the Fox

bbay
