CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
I think he believes so because when CUU bought it, the other company was in much more of a financially stressed scenario so they were willing to part with it for cheaper.
We on the other hand, are not in as financially as stressed position so we can perhaps sell it for something higher and (presumably) closer to its true value.
The idea is that we bought it on the cheap, and will sell it closer to full value. Buy low, sell high. Have you ever heard of the man who traded a pen for a house?
That being said - even though we could sell it for more, we could very well just explore it as well.
