lletea, I agree I don't think Teck is interested in the properties, but when dealing with shareholders, showing the resources bought as a total makes a deal much easier to take.
When a buyout is announce it usually isn't announced with a break down of each property. It is usually announced declaring the total resources purchased. Later everyone goes and figures out the breakdown by the properties, and are happy with the deal or not.
