I just read a presentation by Bell Copper and they had a plan at Van Dyke to use in-situ leaching. They pump a dilute acide solution into injection wells to dissolve the mineral and then the solution is pumped up recovery wells. Apparently they need fewer mining permits. There are no water wells at the depth of the deposit and this is supposed to be a good thing. I guess they won't be contaminating any water supply.
