I'm not sure what "help" i offered but ... thanks! You can thank Willy Nilly for very astutely and quitely keeping what a lot of the peace we do have here.

We have lots of new posters (welcome!) and lots of old posters (happy 1 yr anniversary at agora!).

We - as a discussion group - seem to be applying two different sets of rules to each set of posters. I try to give the new guys some slack until a definite line has been crossed, other HL's have shorter ropes. I'm quite fine with that.

I'm not going to comment on a particular poster that has broken a lot of rules but is un-touchable to the Hub Leaders (not able to remove that person's offensive posts). It is up to Agoracom to act on those situations and they do get around to things. The point is: that situation is lowering the bar across the board in terms of applying consistancy to old and new posters alike.

That is just a few of the issues with the glorious job of being a Hub Leader!

It's not that hard folks. We have some simple rules:

- no insults,

- no spam,

- other stock picks and non-cuu related or whimsical in the off-topic forum,

- and either state something as opinion or provide supporting rationale and references

I can't believe how hard it is for a everyone folks to follow this.

It should include: don't agitate by making repeated, un-substantiated statements and dumb questions ad nauseum.

But that is just my own opinion.
