CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
I have also spoken to some MLA's during the past few years and they are not very concerned about mining as an industry that needs more regulations. They are more concerned about good paying Union jobs being created in the province. Any additional revenue streams are being welcomed. The radical left wing is not taking a leading role in the party anymore, because if they do they will never be elected and/or re-elected. Plus the NTL is being put in primarily for mining related projects.
The Feds have also drastically simplified the EA process. So as long as you dont have a project creating major contaminations of water supplies or wreaking havoc on endangered species it seem like you're good to go. CUU has very little water issues being on the "rainshadow" side of the coastal mountains.
