Any shareholder with an average price above an offer to buyout price would clearly be unhappy, a situation I've seen occur with other stocks. The best interests of Teck, the major shareholders of CUU and the retail CUU investors will not necessarily be common. Some clearer indications could come when the BFS is delivered and CUU acquires the 23.4 % indirect holding.It will be interesting to see the impact of that event on the share price.
