Sorry, Nav, I have to dispute that. Different points of view continue to be welcome here; there would be no value to this forum if it were otherwise. It's very important to make that clear.
I think the main point of contention today stemmed from a statement made by a poster which conflicted with the facts as they’re generally understood and accepted (not referring to you or serafin, incidentally). Nothing wrong with making a statement in error if one is not aware of the facts. But when that point of view gets repeated despite being refuted using argument based on fact, it’s not okay. There are other venues where that’s okay, but not here.
