CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
My take
Teck and cuu are arguing sutilties of the existing reports, some of which could make a big difference in overall numbers. Some are a bit variable such as exact location of a pit wall. I do not know if they are close but you can tell the fustration in Elmer's voice. No doubt Teck will take a glass half empty approach to technical reports and cuu will try to protect any information they have put out. It seems they are talking on a weekly basis. If we get Teck shares it will not matter as much if the reports are lowered. As long as they keep talking and copper stays strong. But then I have never got this story right.
