CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
Show me acquisitions where junior insider owns 60% of the company.
-JV where the operator requires to carry the junior partner all the way to production.
-JV where they operate within a private entity and only are able to release certain info out.
-ROFO.
The relationship between CUU and Teck is very unique. Not many JV out there are similar to what we have. Look at Teck and how they took out minority interests in QB2. No news and out of nowhere.
