Crystallex International Corporation is a Canadian-based gold company with a successful record of developing and operating gold mines in Venezuela and elsewhere in South America
I don't have shares in GRZ. It is lightly traded from memory.
I doubt the award will make much difference until they get their money. If I owned shares what would price would I want. They sit at over $4.00 a share I think with about a 40 million shares. The award is worth about $18 a share. Do I ask $22 a share? They are still in business so what do they do with the cash when they get it?
Kry is different in we have no other business and most of the award will go to Tenor. I see shareholders getting a payment with KRY being disolved.
Thr GRZ award itself can't be compared to KRY since the projects are different with different minerals and grades. I have seen speculation that is the same percentage of the award is given Kry would get 1.6 billion. I haven't looked at the figures myself and not sure about comparisons when we are talking apples and oranges with the projects.
GRZ was expropriated and we are a breach of contract case. All in all I'm happy they got an award.
