New Discovery Resulting in a 20KM Mineralized Gold Belt
Any company can extend the warrant term, but certain conditions apply. Assuming the company is listed on the TSX Venture Exchange, some of the main conditions are:
-the warrants can’t be listed for trading;
-they can’t be in the money;
-no warrants can have been exercised in the last 6 months;
-at least two weeks remain before the expiry date of the warrants; and
-the company has to issue a press release, disclosing that it is applying to amend the terms of the warrants.
Also, the aggregate of the original exercise period and the extended period cannot be more than 5 years from the date of issue of the warrants.
I'm also not a lawyer....just a lowly shareholder who had a company extend a warrant as a thankyou for helping at a time when it was tough to raise capital! What comes round.......
