Hi munisign, sinbob, gwr1, tidbits1 et. al.
Anyone paid by a public company, holds a trust position on behalf of the shareholders of that company.
When the shareholders have a "beef", they have a right to ask questions and to expect honest answers, and not just at annual general meetings.
In todays PM market, there seems to be something seriously amiss, but the issue with the PM's, is a general sector issue.
With AUM the issue is NOT general but very specific.
There is no reason for the price of shares of AUM to be where they are, especially when you consider all of the facts and fundamentals of the company.
Shareholders have a right to ask pointed questions of Management and BOD members, as the trust being shown by the shareholders seems to be seriously undermined by those same individuals.
At the very least, Management needs to go on record and explain to shareholders what steps they and the BOD are taking to mitigate this/these problem(s).
Good Luck to all!
