Cal: "Also, in these trying times of all over the world with Covid I think it would be OK to share how we all doing , Off-Topic board is the best to make sure that all members are doing OK"
Ok, I will bite. Retired in Northern Nevada. Wife just retired, so looking forward to doing some traveling and spending time on hobbies.
Hobbies: Amateur radio, studying Mandarin and, hopefully, a return to "yesteryear" when I used to enjoy fishing. Not a lot of fish here in the desert, but just over the hill is a plethora of California streams and rivers.
I have had my General Class Amateur Radio license for a couple of years now and have never got off the stick and started to use it. Just procrastinating. This is the year I intend to start using it. My call sign is: KI7UQT if any of you are "Hams". I will start with QRP ( low power ) and later on set up my 100 Watt multi-band transceiver. Baby steps. QRP is mostly Morse Code, so that presents another challenge, especially for an old brain. Looking forward to learning the Code, even if only at slow speed.
OK, Cal, you started this. Now it is your turn! And after Cal, how about the rest checking in. Just a little bio. Doesn't have to be your whole life story. If you have your picture posted all over the Post Office wall, then just skip over those "details".
