Thank you. I have actually considered writing a few of books on my Dad's experiences (Skunk Works), my experiences (for some reason, throughout my career, I found myself sitting in the highly active hot seat responding to other people's FUs), and on how to effectively manage the administrative side of big business (directives focused on multi-organizational process flows, timecharging practices tied to processes, effective performance monitoring via timecharging and output, and, ultimately, ways to measure the effectiveness of process "tweaks" via throughput metrics and time/effort expended after the tweak - all in an easy to understand, by the people involved, package. Typically the administrative side of business just charges time to an OH account, directives are individual organization-based, and tweaks are done more for political reasons than for performance improvement - effectiveness unknown, people confused and dismayed).
Maybe someday..... Writing can be a nasty business when it comes to getting published, and then recognized. It would be almost as bad as focusing investments in penney-land! LOL
