For TPL to to attempt a an IPO would be very time and money consuming. The reverse merger with PTSC gives them, or would give them, complete control over the MMP. Also I think with the two companies 50/50 partners I don't think lends the right credibility at the negotiating table. I think TPL would like to bury the stigma associated eith PTSC forever, amen brother!

Think of what one company umbrella will bring? No more calculating 50% of the take less legal, the whole deal will go into the publicly traded company, take all your estimates now and DOUBLE them!!

I believe this will be Groerner's function at least for the short term, to negotiate this deal!!
