Wow srandl, not at all what I was expecting as a reply (not that I was looking for a reply, just airing my views). Thank you for your clear response, but thank you most of all for your adult & constructive business tone. I thought I would reply to you before reading further so as not to be discouraged by negative posts directed to me. Your reply is welcomed and it led me to think of the one single message on this board several weeks ago which stopped me in my tracks after all these years. The poster indicated that, due to the way the BOD votes were calculated, it was impossible to remove a sitting BOD member.
I do not recall this being responded to at all but it represents the very heart of our issues with the BOD and our ability to act rather then vent. Does anyone else recall this post? Can we form a discussion and resolve that factual issue? Then, the discussion can evolve to a method of action / reaction by shareholders.
I assure you the Board of Directors knows the answer; and if they feel they are truly unassailable, then I begin to understand their apparent cavalier attitude towards issues such as BOD compensation.
IMO, as a first constructive step, we must understand the validity of the posters assertion that we cannot remove the sitting BOD members. If we cannot, we must find out what can be done to amend the voting rules.
I hope this message leads to something constructive.
Just my thoughts and opinions
