You may be right, they cannot afford to lose in California it would definitly end the licensing program or at least deliver a heavy blow to it.
Imo the BOD is feeling the heat on failure to produce anything tangible beyond the MMP to date and the disgruntled shareholders are not going to allow them to continue their ways. IMO the last chance is for them and they know it.
Yes they wasted a lot of the revenue to date but some of the investment may be sound and could mature into a future business model for PTSC. Somthing to carry the company beyond the MMP expiration. Marketing somthing long term is a key to who invests in PTSC and how high the SP will go imo. If we're only about the MMP then there is no future beyond 2015 and imo lowers the bar for SP appreciation. They have put a lot of eggs in the PDSG basket and I think they know that this is their last chance to prove they are not incompetent. I believe that is why they brought Baroni in. Someone with connections and the expertise to evaluate the PDSG portion of the business and provide guidance that they recognize they lack in making sure they are doing the right things in marketing and positioning the PDSG business for what could be a windfall of business in secure data tied into health care, first response and homeland security all of which the government is spending our money on.
All the best,
Steve
