I am not as worried about the lifetime of the patents as I am about money needed in litigation (13 million to Roger Cook and company) and the cost associated with challenges at the USPTO. When you also consider the cost of operations with the enities ( Crossflo and etc.) if the licensing activities don't pick-up we will be in a cash flow crisis soon. That is why IMO the California suit being in our favor is important. Even if we are in the right we still need cash to bring the infringers to the table. Perhaps they are all waiting for us (PTSC, MOORE, and TPL) to go under? Seems to be a crack in our armour. Before I spent millions on licensing (One time fee) I would want to be sure I was giving it to a viable entity. Maybe I won't need to pay anything.
